Jerome-Gun Hill Bid Facade Improvement Grants
The Jerome-Gun Hill Business Improvement District (BID) has created a Facade
Improvement Program that provides matching grants of up to maximum $4,000 to
help local merchants improve the external look of their business including
gates, canopies, and lighting. The BID also offers up to an additional $2,500
for the installation of security camera(s) and systems that can be directly
connected to the BID’s new high-tech Security Camera System. Renovations can
range from the simple replacement of a store sign or awning to the complete
restoration of the entire storefront (also includes pointing of bricks and steam
cleaning) and/or the installation of security related equipment.
The purpose of the program is to help merchants in improve the look of your
individual business while improving the overall aesthetic quality of the entire
BID district. This unique grant program will award qualifying business owners
50% of the total cost of storefront renovations up to a maximum $4,000 grant and
50% of the total cost of the installation of the security camera(s) up to a
maximum $2,500 grant.
