Quality of Life: Clean-Up Efforts
Graffiti
Clean-Up. Through the tireless efforts of the Jerome-Gun
Hill BID, MPC attempts
to remove the work of graffiti artists almost as soon as it appears on Norwood
buildings. To expand its
clean-up efforts into areas outside the BID’s
perimeter, MPC has successfully drawn graffiti removal funding from Montefiore
Medical Center, local elected officials and community members. By 2008
there will be regular graffiti removal programs in all of the commercial areas
in Community District 7.
