In 1998, MPC purchased the
ramshackle stone house on the edge of Reservoir Oval, where the reservoir’s
keeper had lived prior to the development of Williamsbridge Oval Park in the
1930s. MPC began to raise funds to renovate the long-neglected property, and the
second-oldest building in the area has now been rededicated to its future by
becoming home to MPC’s operations, including those of the
Norwood News
and the
Jerome-Gun Hill BID. |
